“Had an excellent experience with Advanced Heating & Air Conditioning, in my quest to get a more environmentally friendly and energy efficient HVAC system, including a variable speed cold climate heat pump and furnace, and smart thermostat. I got bids from eight HVAC companies, and Advanced stood out for its fair and transparent pricing, longer parts & labor warranty, and quality of the system offered (Carrier Infinity). I was impressed that Chris, the person who initially came out to take a look at the house and give a bid. He listened closely to what I wanted — to rely on a heat pump as much as possible in the winter while also having gas as backup for colder stretches. But he also guided me on what was prudent by steering me away from bigger heat pumps, which some other HVAC companies suggested, saying these would be overkill for the size of the house and its ductwork. He appears to have been right. I'm now a few days into using the heat pump exclusively with temperatures dipping into the 20s, and the house's temperature remains comfortable and consistent.

I was equally impressed with the installation team, Kevin and Caden and the electrician who worked with them, who were professional and efficient, while also being unfailingly friendly, respectful, and ready to answer any questions I had as they went along throughout an 8-hour day of installation. Kevin took a fair bit of time after completing the installation to walk me through all that had been done, to make sure I understood the system and how to use the smart thermostat and app to control it. I'm also happy that they left the work area in the basement spotless.

As a final and delightful bonus, Rena, the office manager, was in touch within 24 hours of installation, having already submitted my rebate paperwork to Xcel, with my product registration, certificate of coverage, and receipt. That's a level of efficiency I've rarely encountered with contractors, and I very much appreciated it.”
